... after all Tehmina must experience the Mayun R&R - Rejuvenate and Rejoice .... will need the Western R&R later ...... BEFORE & AFTER ....

PREPARATIONS ARE DONE & THE TEST IS TOMORROW - MAYUN 30th JUNE 2005

Late 2004 were the initiations. Mid-2005 was the test of the pudding....

.... the table .... even our desserts were GI & Dermatologist screened to ensure we kept up the tempo that had built up ... next day is Mayun... 30th June 2005

Prepartions almost done, a warm up friendly match is organized at a local hotel by friends - a DHOLKI in honour of TEHMINA & ROOFI.

WHAT ON EARTH IS HAPPENING? Practice sessions for the Mehndi performances ...... watch out Bollywood!

Many sweet moments and these wonderful souvenirs will keep our minds refreshed - prayers for the couple and famillies.

WHAT DID I TELL YOU? THERE WAS EVEN A CARD WITH OPTIONS FOR BOOKINGS - HOTELS, CARS & AIRLINES .....anD a wedding coordinator to boot!

But Aqueela knows what she's doin..... no amount of planning & preparations are enough for a daughter's wedding ..... Pakistani style in US of A! While Tasnim and Shaheen are supporting the effort in Karachi, many others are on the job in USA.

Tehmina is quite relaxed ...... it's six months away!

Tehmina's Wedding

We received 'Save the Dates' cards in 2004 for Tehmina's wedding with Roofi. The wedding was to take place 3rd July 2005.

Tehmina & Aqueela were in Karachi for the preparations in January 2005 measuring the streets of Karachi Bazaars.
